Accountant – On-site (Gurgaon)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Bluethread Brands’ Gurgaon headquarters. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including entries, invoices, bills, vouchers, payments and receipts.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and reconcile inter‑brand financials.
• Handle statutory compliances such as GST, TDS and monthly returns.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform comprehensive reconciliations: bank, vendor, customer, inter‑company, inventory, payment gateway and Shopify.
• Manage petty cash, employee reimbursements and vendor payments.
• Assist internal and external auditors during monthly, quarterly and annual audits.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and generate periodic MIS reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, fashion or startup environments.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS and related compliance norms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and accountability.
