Accountant – Multi‑currency & AI‑enabled Finance

About the role

You will manage the accounts for a multinational design and construction business, providing directors with up‑to‑date financial insight across multiple currencies. The role combines traditional accounting with AI‑driven automation and dashboard creation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project and company accounts, budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Oversee invoicing, payments and reconciliation for clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Track project budgets and profitability with quantity surveyors and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Indian statutory, tax (GST, TDS) and reporting requirements.
• Support UK operations and liaise with auditors, banks and external advisers.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and visual dashboards for directors.
• Use AI tools and automation to streamline bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, design, real estate or other project‑based businesses.
• Relevant qualification such as CA, CA Inter, ACCA or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with Xero and Zoho (Zoho Books and the wider Zoho suite).
• Comfortable handling international transactions and multiple currencies.
