Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

The Accountant will support 7 Seas' furniture manufacturing operations by handling day‑to‑day financial activities, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and providing timely financial information to aid decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, process bookkeeping entries, and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and handle invoice processing.
• Oversee payroll entries, inventory costing, and production‑related expense tracking.
• Prepare GST and TDS documentation, ensure compliance with local tax regulations, and support audit activities.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting for manufacturing operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
