Accountant – Jaipur

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Jaipur. You will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations while providing accurate financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements on schedule
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Maintain balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Report on financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Maintain data confidentiality and perform database backups when needed
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Required profile

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and GAAP
• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Attention to detail and solid analytical abilities
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Additional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
