Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support Vistance Networks by managing general ledger, fixed assets, inter‑company accounting, and inventory costing processes across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures for GL, FA, and inter‑company accounting, including Goods in Transit and GR/IR.
• Monitor GR/IR ledgers, ensure timely processing of inter‑company customer and vendor billings.
• Reconcile BOT‑generated GIT reports, analyze variances in GIT, GR/IR, tax uplift, and purchase price.
• Post month‑end accruals for inter‑entity GIT and tax uplifts.
• Prepare and circulate periodic MIS reports on billings, credit trends, and support internal information requests.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Logistics to resolve process issues and meet reporting timelines.
• Support external and internal audits and ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree (MBA or MCom) or Inter CA / Inter ICWA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting department.
• Strong knowledge of inventory costing, COGS, and inter‑company transactions.
