Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage day‑to‑day financial operations, support month‑end closing, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, processing vendor and customer transactions.
• Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
• Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as needed.
• Support monthly financial reporting and account closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients regarding financial transactions.
• Provide administrative support to senior management and the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
