Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Accountant to join our Goa site office. The role involves overseeing daily financial operations, preparing accurate reports, and supporting business decisions through sound financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations and manage budgets.
• Prepare and assist with financial reports and statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and handle tax filings.
• Reconcile accounts, manage payroll, and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Assist internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic decisions and improve financial performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll management, account reconciliation and tax compliance.
• Ability to analyze financial data and implement improvements.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Prior experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing or a related industry is an advantage.
