Accountant

About the role

The Accountant supports the Accounting Manager or Accounting Cycle Analyst in executing group and local accounting activities. You will ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded, verified, and compliant with internal policies and local legislation, delivering timely information for financial statement preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, enter, and verify accounting transactions across the general ledger.
• Maintain the quality and consistency of accounting data in line with group referentials.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accrual accounting, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile accounts and provide justifications for internal and external audits.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or equivalent; CA‑Inter qualification.
• 0‑2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a product‑based industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (experience is a plus).
