Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations. The successful candidate will handle accounting entries, taxation, payroll, and reporting while ensuring compliance with Indian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record day‑to‑day accounting entries and maintain accurate books.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, filings and ensure tax compliance.
• Process payroll entries and coordinate with HR for data accuracy.
• Conduct internal audit procedures and uphold financial controls.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking.
• Prepare periodic Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Monitor expense reports, reimbursements and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyse cash‑flow statements to support financial planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations (TDS, GST basics).
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books.
• Experience in payroll processing and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with internal audit practices.
• Ability to prepare P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash‑Flow statements.
• B.Com or M.Com degree (mandatory).
