Accountant – GST & TDS Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an accountant who can independently manage routine accounting, GST and TDS compliance, and monthly reconciliations for a multi‑state, multi‑company business. The role sits within the accounts team and offers support from senior staff and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally for multiple companies and states.
• Branch and inter‑branch/inter‑company accounting, including stock and expense transfers.
• Preparation and filing of monthly GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, ISD) for all state registrations.
• Monthly GSTR‑2B ITC reconciliation and vendor follow‑up.
• TDS/TCS deduction, challan payment, quarterly return filing and Form 26AS reconciliation.
• Bank, debtor, creditor, inter‑branch and payment‑gateway reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of e‑commerce and online sales with settlement reports.
• Booking of purchase, expense and commission invoices with correct GST and TDS treatment.
• Assistance in month‑end closing, MIS schedules and audit data preparation.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience handling multi‑state or multi‑entity accounting.
• CA Inter preferred; B.Com or M.Com also considered.
• Location: AAA House, Okhla Phase 3, New Delhi (onsite).
• Work schedule: 5.5 days/week, 10 am‑7:30 pm (2nd & 4th Saturdays off).

Required skills

• Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 (multiple companies and state‑wise books).
• GST compliance – return filing, GSTR‑2B reconciliation, ISD and RCM.
• TDS/TCS handling – deduction, payment, returns and Form 26AS.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) for reconciliation work.
