Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Mysore

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Accountant role based in Mysore. The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up‑to‑date ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow on a regular basis.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist the finance team with budgeting processes and expense monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation rules and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to deliver financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and bookkeeping practices.
• Ability to work efficiently with accounting software and spreadsheets, with high attention to detail.
• Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements and audit processes.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
