Accountant (Full-time) – Chennai

About the role

CK Creation is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support its growing e‑commerce business in Chennai. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling bank and marketplace reconciliations, and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in Tally Prime/Tally ERP, recording sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile e‑commerce marketplace transactions (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Shopify, etc.) including online payments, settlements, refunds, returns and commissions.
• Generate MIS and financial reports using Excel.
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and management for financial reporting.

Required profile

• B.Com / M.Com or related degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in apparel, fashion, garment or retail sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GST filing, TDS and inventory accounting.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing and managing Bank Reconciliation Statements.
• Ability to reconcile e‑commerce marketplace settlements and payment gateway reports.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
