About the role
The Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and control while supporting business units with insights for decision‑making. Joining SCG’s expansion in India offers the opportunity to help build robust financial systems and ensure compliance in a growing multinational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing processes.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
- Support statutory reporting and compliance.
- Assist in audits and maintain proper documentation.
- Provide variance analysis and assist in budgeting/forecasting.
- Recommend improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 0–5 years of corporate accounting or audit experience; new graduates are welcome.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel
- ERP knowledge
