Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a curious and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Pune. Reporting to the Business Controller, you will ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting and provide timely insights that support sound business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Control and reconcile accounts, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and bank accounts.
• Record financial transactions in line with internal policies and external standards.
• Prepare accounting reports, schedules, cash‑flow statements, and budgets for internal and external reporting.
• Support cost accounting, allocation of direct and indirect costs, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and collections to maintain predictable cash flow.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and other business units to improve processes and strengthen controls.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting or financial control with solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements (TDS, GST).
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Clear communicator able to explain financial topics to non‑specialists.
• Organized, accurate, and eager to improve processes.
