About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to become part of our Chartered Accountant (CA) practice located in Chandigarh. The role focuses on core accounting tasks as well as GST and income‑tax compliance for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Manage GST filings, returns and related documentation through the GST portal.
- Handle income‑tax computation, filing and liaison with tax authorities.
- Assist senior accountants with audit support and client queries.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal control standards.
Required profile
- B.Com or M.Com degree.
- 1–3 years of experience working in a CA firm.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Tally accounting software.
- Familiarity with the GST portal for filing and reporting.
