Accountant – 1-3 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant with 1‑3 years of experience to join our accounts team in Gurugram. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting operations, preparing financial reports and supporting audit and tax activities in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and receipts.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards and inter‑company balances.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and deadlines.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by supplying required documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records while safeguarding confidential information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of practical accounting experience in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and standards.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
