Account to Report Analyst

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Account to Report Analyst to join its Finance and Accounting team in Bangalore. The role supports the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate reporting for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement while driving process standardisation.

Key responsibilities

• Close financial periods on time, adhering to SLA commitments, SOX, and internal audit requirements.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, monitor ageing, and resolve accounting issues.
• Create and manage sales and purchase orders, and reconcile out‑of‑balance items.
• Support auditors and legal authorities to achieve adequate audit ratings.
• Implement global accounting strategies, maintain documentation, and ensure cross‑region alignment.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, continuous‑improvement activities, and training of new team members.

Required profile

• 0‑4 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA, or part‑qualified Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities, learning agility, and ability to work in flexible shifts.
• Good communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
