Account Manager – Sales

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a results‑oriented Account Manager – Sales to manage and grow existing customer accounts within the IT distribution ecosystem. The role focuses on driving revenue, building long‑term relationships, and delivering technology solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Create account plans and growth strategies to maximise business opportunities.
• Achieve sales, revenue and gross‑margin targets through cross‑selling, upselling and new customer acquisition.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, pre‑sales teams and channel partners to design customer‑centric solutions.
• Work with OEMs and technology vendors to leverage programs and joint business planning.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track opportunities in CRM and provide accurate forecasts.

Required profile

• Strong account‑management experience in B2B technology or IT distribution.
• Customer‑centric mindset with proven ability to drive revenue growth.
• Excellent consultative selling and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage the full sales cycle from opportunity generation to order closure.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
