Account Manager, Platforms and Commerce

About the role

Google is looking for an Account Manager to join its Large Customer Sales team, focusing on Platforms and Commerce. You will partner with leading brands and agencies, helping them navigate the evolving digital advertising landscape and achieve ambitious growth goals.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client business objectives and translate them into Google advertising solutions through consultative selling.
• Meet quarterly and annual Google Ads revenue targets for assigned accounts.
• Own product goals for each client and ensure consistent delivery of internal and external milestones.
• Provide strategic insights on consumer behavior and market trends to drive client success.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, product, and measurement, to deliver integrated campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, or digital marketing.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time for client meetings and training.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a business‑related field, 3 years managing digital marketing/advertising campaigns, and 1 year of leadership experience.
