Account Manager – Key Customer Relationships

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an Account Manager to build and sustain long‑term relationships with major customers across all levels, including senior management. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, delivering effective solutions, and driving revenue growth while supporting the company’s sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trust‑based relationships with key customers and senior stakeholders.
• Analyze customer data to spot trends, opportunities, and areas for upselling or cross‑selling.
• Create and execute account plans that maximize revenue and meet profitability targets.
• Handle customer complaints, negotiate contracts, and ensure mutually beneficial terms.
• Track, analyse, and report key account metrics and progress to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, sales or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a key account manager or in a comparable sales role.
• Strong analytical ability and experience developing marketing strategies for major accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office.
