Account Manager - Construction Billing

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail‑oriented Account Manager to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations for our design and execution projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design, construction or other project‑based businesses and be comfortable handling project costing, client billing, vendor accounts, GST/TDS and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day books of accounts, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Track project expenses against approved budgets and highlight cost overruns.
• Prepare and raise client invoices according to project milestones and payment schedules.
• Verify and process vendor and subcontractor bills against purchase orders and approvals.
• Manage petty cash, site expenses, employee reimbursements and advances.
• Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance, liaising with CA consultants and auditors.
• Prepare regular reports on project profitability, receivables, payables, cash flow and expenses.
• Coordinate with management, project managers, procurement teams, vendors, clients, auditors and tax consultants.

Required profile

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in interior design, construction or contracting firms.
