Account Manager – Business Messaging & AI Solutions

About the role

Wati is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow key client accounts across its Business Messaging platform and AI agentic platform Astra. The role focuses on cross‑selling and upselling integrated messaging and AI solutions to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients as primary point of contact for both Wati and Astra.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that align AI agent capabilities with existing Wati usage.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities, pitch, demo, and close combined‑solution deals.
• Articulate value of standalone and integrated products to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Negotiate multi‑product contracts and usage‑based pricing.
• Monitor account performance using metrics such as NDR, activation, and AI agent adoption.
• Collaborate with CSMs, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive go‑to‑market approach.
• Stay informed on competitive landscape for WhatsApp CPaaS and conversational AI providers.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in account management, sales or related client‑facing roles.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through cross‑sell and upsell.
• Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to translate technical AI capabilities into business outcomes.
