2WP System Engineer - Engine Management Systems

About the role

As a 2WP System Engineer you will design and develop competitive customer concepts for Engine Management Systems across various power‑train levels. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into robust system concepts and support the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse customer requirements to create internal coordination documents.
• Develop system concepts based on existing platform solutions, estimate effort and timelines, and prepare quotations.
• Produce Stakeholder Requirements Specifications in collaboration with business‑unit project managers.
• Act as a technical contact and consultant for customers during the RFQ and project implementation phases.
• Coordinate technical strategy, select components, and interpret specifications for customer projects.
• Register, track, and manage the status of customer requirements and system specifications.
• Identify and resolve customer‑specific divergences from standard platforms.
• Support feasibility studies by liaising with customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in system engineering for automotive power‑train applications.
• Strong analytical skills to perform requirement analysis and effort estimation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in handling RFQ processes and creating technical specifications.
