Virtual Medical Assistant (RN) – Remote Night‑Shift

About the role

This remote, night‑shift position supports U.S.-based healthcare clinics from India. As a Virtual Medical Assistant (RN), you will be the first point of clinical contact, handling inbound and outbound patient communications, coordinating appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation in electronic medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls for scheduling, clinic information, and general inquiries.
• Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, wellness checks, and follow‑ups.
• Document call details accurately in the EMR and share relevant information with onsite providers.
• Communicate with healthcare teams via Google Chat and other collaboration tools.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to established service standards.
• Participate in training to expand skills in referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, eligibility, benefits, and HEDIS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a healthcare BPO or similar customer‑support environment.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to patient service and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Gmail and Google Sheets.
• Experience using Google Chat or similar digital collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
