Transportation Specialist – Quick Commerce

About the role

The Transportation Specialist will join Amazon's Quick Commerce arm, supporting real‑time monitoring of in‑store fulfillment and last‑mile delivery operations across multiple geographies. You will help ensure orders are accepted, picked, packed, staged and delivered on time while maintaining high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor in‑store fulfillment (order acceptance, picking, packing, staging) and last‑mile delivery (DP assignment, transit, delivery) in real time.
• Identify and resolve operational exceptions such as delayed orders, capacity gaps, quality drops, connectivity issues, and delivery failures.
• Track key performance metrics (On‑Time Performance, Delivery Success Rate, Pick Efficiency) and escalate deviations.
• Coordinate with field teams, logistics partners and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve issues within SLA.
• Manage delivery partner capacity by monitoring acceptance rates, releasing additional slots and escalating shortfalls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering, statistics) or any discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain or customer service.
• Strong analytical ability to read and act on real‑time data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SQL for data queries.
