Technical Services Engineer - Defect Cell

About the role

Airbus FHS is looking for a Technical Services Engineer to join its Defect Cell team in New Delhi. The role supports airline customers by managing defect resolution, maintenance reporting and ensuring fleet reliability in line with DGCA and EASA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, collect and analyse SHM/SPM defects, pilot and maintenance reports and provide technical resolutions.
• Create work orders and recommendation dossiers in collaboration with customers.
• Compile daily maintenance reports covering fleet status, performed maintenance, deferred defects and irregularities.
• Prepare delay and technical issue synopses to communicate fleet problems and recommendations.
• Manage deferred, repetitive defects and technical queries.
• Support routine troubleshooting and AOG situations to maintain high technical reliability.
• Identify required parts, materials, tools and consumables for non‑routine work orders and coordinate with logistics, MRO and airline MCC.
• Review and manage engineering documents such as Service Bulletins (SB), Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Aircraft Operational Tasks (AOT).

Required profile

• Minimum B1 or B2 AME licence on A320 aircraft.
• At least 3 years of certifying experience as an AME.
• General awareness of airline CAMO organisation and MCC functioning.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet changing deadlines.
• Attention to detail and good interpersonal and communication abilities.
