Strategic Sourcing Analyst – Procurement Data & Analytics

About the role

Elastic is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join its Finance Team in Bangalore. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing in India and works closely with global sourcing and procurement teams across India and North America. You will lead procurement data analytics, reporting and system administration for a range of procurement tools.

Key responsibilities

• Review Corporate Services and Marketing & Events contracts with Legal and sourcing leads, ensuring alignment with business needs and risk frameworks.
• Create RFP/RFI processes and negotiate with vendors for non‑technology services, managing deals under $100k and tail spend.
• Produce and distribute monthly/quarterly procurement spend reports and critical metrics such as cost savings and payment terms.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support sourcing strategy, procurement optimization and process improvement.
• Maintain and configure procurement tools, lead implementation of new features, and train users on analytical dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance or accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contracts review and finance data analysis.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify opportunities and communicate risks.
• Project‑management and change‑management experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
