About the role
The Stores Executive supports the Senior Store Officer in the day‑to‑day operations of the stores department. This position ensures smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, maintains accurate inventory records, and coordinates with planning and logistics teams to meet customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for incoming materials and process related invoices and dispatch documents.
- Organise stock to enable easy retrieval, keep the store tidy, and prevent accidents such as leaks.
- Identify raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and trade goods for safe and timely loading.
- Dispatch finished goods and free samples to customers strictly following FIFO principles.
- Transfer material between external warehouses to optimise storage space.
- Manage inventory of finished and trade goods, taking proactive steps to minimise slow‑moving and non‑moving items.
- Coordinate daily dispatches with planning and logistics coordinators based on confirmed orders and dispatch plans.
- Record all transactions to maintain up‑to‑date stock positions.
