Store & Receiving Associate

About the role

Accor is looking for a detail‑oriented Store & Receiving Associate to join its Visakhapatnam team. You will manage incoming inventory, keep accurate records, and help the warehouse run smoothly while supporting the broader supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against purchase orders and documentation.
• Record inventory data in the warehouse management system and maintain receiving logs.
• Organise products in designated locations following safety and storage protocols.
• Conduct quality‑control checks to identify damaged or incorrect items.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage aisles and receiving zones.
• Prepare shipping documentation and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams on delivery schedules and discrepancies.
• Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, receiving or inventory management.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail for data entry and record‑keeping.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb regularly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Forklift operation (certification or willingness to obtain).
