Staff Nurse – Full-time Clinical Role

About the role

The Staff Nurse position at MediVaah is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Sivaganga, India. You will deliver direct patient care across home‑care and clinical settings, following established protocols and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Administer medications and perform basic life support when required.
• Assist physicians and other team members with medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update care plans.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely communication.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive health measures.
• Implement infection‑control practices and adhere to safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and intervene as needed.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing, or equivalent) with valid registration.
• Clinical competencies in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support.
• Knowledge of infection‑control and safety procedures in both inpatient and home‑care environments.
• Strong documentation skills for accurate record‑keeping.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Sivaganga and travel to patient homes as needed.
