Sr Workday Analyst, Talent and Performance

About the role

Responsible for design, management and control of Workday configuration to support global and local enhancements, focusing on Talent Development and Performance. Provides system support and analysis to translate HR business requirements into functional Workday solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier III support for Workday Talent, acting as escalation point for complex configuration and functional issues.
• Manage Talent and Performance processes, including annual and mid‑year review cycles and organizational talent reviews across RELX.
• Review existing Workday Talent configurations, identify enhancements and deploy new functionality.
• Partner with Talent & Capabilities COEs, Product Owners and end‑users as the Workday expert, supporting business requirements and system changes.
• Own testing, change control and system integrity for Workday releases and enhancements.
• Build reports and dashboards in collaboration with People, Analytics and Insights to enable self‑service decision‑making.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of Workday system support and administration experience, with strong exposure to Talent and Performance modules.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to handle large data volumes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to build effective relationships and challenge stakeholders.
• Good IT literacy and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Required skills

• Workday configuration (condition rules, calculated fields, report writing, system administration).
• Workday reporting and dashboard creation.
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Case‑management tools.
• Practical AI fluency for operational efficiency.
