Sourcing Recruiter – GSS

About the role

Amazon’s North American Operations recruiting team is looking for a proactive Sourcing Recruiter to help identify top talent for its distribution and operations functions across the United States. In this role you will partner with hiring managers, build pipelines of passive candidates, and ensure a high‑quality, fast‑moving hiring process that meets internal service‑level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‑ray and other web‑based techniques.
• Build and maintain talent networks through market research and ongoing relationship management.
• Conduct in‑depth phone and virtual interviews, assess candidate fit, and achieve high offer‑to‑interview ratios.
• Prioritize and manage multiple searches to meet defined timelines and SLAs.
• Recommend and implement recruitment strategies and process improvements aligned with Amazon’s mission.
• Document recruitment plans, deliverables and tracking metrics in writing.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to log activity and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage high‑volume searches, set benchmarks and hit customer SLAs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate urgency and provide constructive push‑back when needed.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
