Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect - Java

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect (or Senior Solution Architect) with deep expertise in Java and cloud‑native design. You will shape and deliver secure, high‑performance solutions for large‑scale enterprises while collaborating with globally distributed teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud‑native solutions based on microservices and event‑driven architectures.
• Define architectural guidelines, design patterns and best practices for enterprise engineering teams.
• Build and deploy workloads using Kubernetes and service‑mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Partner with global architecture groups, technology owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall technical direction.
• Provide technical mentorship, promote strong engineering practices and facilitate shared learning.
• Drive performance improvements through testing, tuning and optimization of distributed systems.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation using tools like Miro, Gliffy or Draw.io.
• Guide cloud adoption, modernization and optimization initiatives across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for potential business value and collaborate with product leadership to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• 12‑20 years of IT experience with a solid background in solution or cloud architecture for enterprise environments.
• Proven success designing scalable, secure architectures that align with enterprise strategy.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in production settings.
• Familiarity with architecture considerations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
