Software Technologist I/II – C# Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Philips is looking for a Software Technologist I/II to design, develop and maintain full‑stack web applications using C#/.NET and modern front‑end technologies. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site collaboration in Bangalore at least three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate and test system components to high‑quality standards.
• Follow team software development processes, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Perform complex development and prototyping tasks.
• Translate market needs into implementation requirements while considering overall solutions.
• Promote domain knowledge, innovative thinking and customer understanding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5‑8 years of web development experience, primarily with Angular (v2+) and modern front‑end technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience with C#/.NET and building micro‑services.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including SQL query writing and performance tuning.
• Ability to work in Agile, globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with Unix environments is a plus.
