Software Engineer III – Full‑Stack Python/React Developer

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms – Networks team. In this role you will design, develop, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products while collaborating within an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions using Python and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Write secure, high‑quality code and leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding‑assist tools for generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to drive continuous improvement of applications.
• Apply agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and system‑resiliency principles throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with at least 3 years of applied experience.
• Proficient in Python and experienced with Django, Flask or FastAPI, as well as React and AngularJS.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools and the ability to critically evaluate AI‑generated outputs.
• Solid understanding of agile processes, application resiliency, secure coding standards, and cloud deployment concepts.
