Software Architect – Enterprise Applications (Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of enterprise‑level applications for our Bangalore development centre. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions while collaborating closely with product, development, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document software architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Lead technical design reviews and make architecture decisions across multiple projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and platforms to recommend optimal solutions.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Mentor development teams on architectural principles and design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years in a software architecture or senior technical leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
• API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
• Database design – both relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL).
• Security best practices and secure software design principles.
• Software design patterns and system architecture for enterprise applications.
