Senior Software Engineer

About the role

CareData Informatics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level healthcare IT solutions, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The role focuses on building scalable web applications and APIs that support diagnostic laboratories and hospitals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive web applications using Angular (v8+) and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with C# and Web API frameworks.
• Work with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
• Create, manage, and optimize SSRS reports.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure coding standards, security best practices, and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in enterprise software development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Exposure to the healthcare domain or SaaS products is a plus.
