Senior QAQC Manager – Trivandrum, Mangalore, Ahmedabad

About the role

The Senior QAQC Manager will report to the Project Director and lead the quality assurance and control function for a large airport development project. The role is responsible for establishing, implementing and continuously improving the project‑wide Quality Management System, governance framework and inspection/testing regimes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and ISO‑9001‑compliant QMS.
• Review and approve contractor quality plans, method statements, ITPs and quality manuals.
• Oversee inspection and testing of civil, structural, architectural, MEP and airfield works, ensuring compliance with specifications and aviation standards.
• Manage non‑conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions, and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Conduct quality audits, performance monitoring, and produce dashboards and KPI reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 15–20 years of QA/QC experience in large infrastructure projects, with at least 10 years on airport or aviation‑related works.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma or CQI/IRCA are preferred.
