Senior Insights Analyst – Power BI (Italian Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Italian‑speaking Senior Insights Analyst (Power BI) to design, develop, and optimise data‑visualisation solutions that deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have advanced Power BI development, data‑modelling and dashboard‑design experience and can translate complex business needs into elegant, user‑friendly analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Build dynamic, high‑performance Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX, Power Query (M), RLS, drill‑throughs, bookmarks and custom visuals.
• Lead end‑to‑end BI projects from requirement gathering through data modelling, deployment and user training.
• Write efficient SQL for data extraction and transformation across Azure SQL, Snowflake or Databricks; PySpark experience is a plus.
• Integrate Power BI with Excel, Power Automate and SharePoint and support dashboard migration and embedded analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers to align pipelines, validate source‑to‑report logic and ensure data accuracy.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, translate business needs into insights and deliver impactful analytics.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of hands‑on BI experience with a strong focus on Power BI, SQL and DAX.
• Fluent reading and writing in Italian and prior experience working with Italian customers.
• Strong understanding of data‑visualisation best practices and BI architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non‑technical audiences.
• Project‑management experience with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
