Senior Finance Analyst – Global Services Finance Legal Entity Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to lead B2G reconciliation activities within the Global Services Finance Legal Entity Accounting team in Bangalore. The role involves close collaboration with finance, tax, procurement and business units to ensure accurate, compliant reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and own B2G reconciliation processes, meeting corporate and regional deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional finance teams to resolve discrepancies and optimise processes.
• Support Legal Entity Accounting activities, ensuring accurate allocation and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare detailed reconciliation reports, analyse variances and communicate findings.
• Coordinate data flows between local teams, global accounting teams and local authorities.
• Assist in audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Alteryx workflows for data automation.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, validation and analysis.

Required profile

• Finance Master’s or bachelor’s degree, qualified accountant or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualified financial experience, preferably in legal entity accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Experience with tax reconciliation, general ledger reconciliations and data validation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HANA (and related modules).
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate and Alteryx for automation.
• Strong SQL query writing, including stored procedures and functions.
• Data analysis and variance investigation capabilities.
