Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Goods Receipt & Storage Management

About the role

The role is responsible for supervising and organizing inbound logistics activities at Bosch's Nashik facility. You will ensure timely collection of raw materials from suppliers, oversee goods receipt, and manage the storage of direct materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and schedule external milk‑run collections from suppliers, optimizing routes to reduce CO₂ emissions.
• Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, ensuring safe and secure handling.
• Maintain storage standards, monitor blocked stock, and drive lead‑time optimization for intermediate operations.
• Supervise logistics personnel, enforce internal procedures, and promote employee satisfaction.
• Escalate inbound logistics issues according to the escalation matrix and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Bosch’s OMP guidelines, foreign trade, customs, and taxation regulations, and support audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inbound logistics, warehouse or storage management.
• Strong knowledge of material handling processes, route optimization, and compliance requirements.
• Leadership abilities to manage a logistics team and drive continuous improvement.
