Senior Accountant – Bullion Trading & Gold Jewellery

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join a bullion trading and gold jewellery company in Manek Chowk, Ahmedabad. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting operations, statutory compliance and physical gold/silver stock reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting using Tally ERP/Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and TDS returns.
• Manage ledgers, vouchers, bank reconciliation, payments, receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with CA/auditors for audits, filings and assessments.
• Reconcile physical gold/silver stock with purchase, sales and delivery records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS for management.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel.
• Practical experience in end‑to‑end GST and TDS filing.
• Good knowledge of audit documentation and preparation.
• Experience in physical stock/inventory reconciliation, preferably in bullion or commodities.
