School Nurse

About the role

Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to safeguard the health, safety, and well‑being of its students and staff. The role involves providing first‑aid care, managing the infirmary, maintaining health records, and promoting a healthy school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid and emergency medical care to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries during school hours.
• Administer prescribed medications with proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, and epilepsy.
• Conduct routine health screenings and keep immunisation records up to date.
• Coordinate with parents, hospitals, and healthcare professionals regarding student health.
• Ensure the infirmary is well‑equipped with medicines and first‑aid supplies.
• Maintain hygiene and infection‑control protocols across the campus.
• Organise health awareness sessions and wellness initiatives for students and staff.
• Assist during school events, sports activities, educational trips, and emergencies.
• Prepare medical reports and maintain accident/incident documentation.
• Ensure compliance with school health and safety policies.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a school, paediatric, or hospital setting.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in IB, Cambridge, CBSE, or international schools is an advantage.
