SAP PP/DS Manager – Advisory (Pune)

About the role

PwC’s Business Application Consulting team helps clients optimise operational efficiency through SAP solutions. As an SAP PP/DS Manager you will provide advisory services, implement production planning and detailed scheduling solutions, and support clients in achieving their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test and solution SAP PP/DS heuristics, detailed scheduling and planning board functions.
• Integrate PP/DS with PP, Material Management and Quality Management modules.
• Perform custom and standard configurations, enhancements, reports and interfaces to meet business requirements.
• Manage master data (Material Master, Work Centers, BOM, Routing, Production Versions) and CIF integration of master and transaction data.
• Collaborate closely with client personnel to capture, document and validate requirements throughout implementation projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of experience in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling implementations.
• Educational background: Bachelor of Engineering and/or Master of Business Administration (BTech, MBA, MCA, MTech accepted).

Required skills

• SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
• SAP MRP and material planning.
• SAP CIF integration for master and transaction data.
• Experience with SAP enhancements, custom reports, interfaces and developments.
• Configuration of planning board profiles, alerts and capacity management.
