Sales Specialist – Travel Packages

About the role

The Sales Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for driving sales of holiday packages and travel services. You will engage with prospective and existing clients, understand their travel needs, present suitable itineraries and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and existing clients to assess travel requirements.
• Present suitable itineraries and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Manage client relationships and follow up on leads.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with operations and ticketing teams.
• Provide product information and support promotional campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in line with company processes.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven customer service abilities with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated sales skills, including lead conversion, negotiation and closing deals.
• Experience in training or mentoring team members is an advantage.
• Familiarity with sales management, CRM tools or pipeline tracking is beneficial.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or a related service industry preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Pune and manage flexible schedules.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Travel & Tourism or a related field desirable.
