Revenue Manager

About the role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Revenue Manager to support rapid growth at a global, publicly‑traded software company. Based in India, the role reports directly to the Senior Revenue Manager and works closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with revenue contract review under ASC 606 guidance and determine appropriate revenue recognition.
• Support Sales, Order Ops, CBO, FP&A, Platform Billing and other partners by resolving SFDC cases.
• Draft and review revenue memos and contribute to the cloud revenue close process.
• Lead UAT testing to drive system and process improvements.
• Perform and review revenue reconciliations, analysis and manage large datasets.
• Coordinate auditing requests and address auditor inquiries.
• Develop and deliver internal training to enhance revenue knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and minimize risk.

Required profile

• 8+ years of revenue accounting experience with solid understanding of ASC 606, especially for software and SaaS.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm or publicly‑traded technology company is preferred.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, distributed environment.
