Retail Salesperson – Optical Store

About the role

Amit Optical House is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson to assist customers in selecting eyeglasses, lenses and related optical products. You will work directly with the local community, providing personalized guidance and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and demonstrate product options.
• Handle sales transactions, including cash and digital payments.
• Maintain product displays, keep the store clean and organized, and monitor stock levels.
• Provide basic after‑sales service and coordinate with team members.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic sales and retail experience, with ability to upsell and demonstrate products.
• Good communication in English and local languages spoken in Ranchi.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn about optical frames and lenses.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Minimum education: secondary school completion or equivalent.
