Resident Staff Nurse – Male

About the role

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amaravati campus is seeking a male Resident Staff Nurse to join its healthcare team. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Record and maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
• Provide emergency medical care when required.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and infection control standards.
• Support bedridden or elderly patients with daily activities.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for effective patient care.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen levels.
• Ensure medical equipment is properly maintained and sterilised.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing).
• Valid nursing license/registration.
• Proven experience in hospital, clinic, or home healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of emergency care procedures.
• Physically fit and emotionally resilient.
