Quality Conformance Manager – Maintenance & Retrofit Solutions

About the role

The Quality Conformance Manager for the Maintenance and Retrofit Solutions (MaRS) team will lead the implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with Airbus processes. You will work closely with local and central teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver high‑quality products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain an effective QMS for MaRS and GSE design teams.
• Support local teams in process compliance and act as the liaison with the Process Management Team.
• Provide inputs for process updates, conduct awareness sessions, and manage documentation changes.
• Define and follow up on surveillance plans, root‑cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate continuous improvement using Value Stream Mapping, Practical Problem Solving, Light Solving, and PDCA methods.
• Participate in PMT reviews, R&O document reviews, and operational reviews as required.
• Conduct quality checks, spot checks, and monitor quality metrics such as Cost to Quality, defects per unit, and KPI performance.
• Analyze defect reports and develop improvement plans.
• Contribute to business projects within the quality management scope.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9000, AS9100 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving techniques, root‑cause analysis, and quality tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams.
