QA Tech Lead – Strategic Quality Engineering Lead

About the role

Atlas Systems Inc. is seeking a hands‑on QA Tech Lead to own and grow its quality engineering function in Bangalore. You will combine deep testing expertise with strong leadership, mentor the QA team, shape automation practices and drive AI‑enabled quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall QA strategy, test approach and quality standards across products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and DevOps to embed quality early (shift‑left) and manage release risk.
• Lead functional, regression, integration and UAT testing, champion exploratory testing and maintain structured test artifacts.
• Administer Qase as the primary test‑management platform, integrate it with CI/CD pipelines and produce QA dashboards.
• Architect and maintain a scalable Playwright automation framework (TypeScript/JavaScript), integrate automated suites into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and set automation coverage targets.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude (Anthropic) to generate test cases, test data, defect summaries and assist with automation code, while establishing responsible AI guidelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter) or security testing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with visual regression, accessibility (WCAG) or mobile testing.
• Knowledge of Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and test environment management.
